On Wednesday, the 4th of December, 60 people rescued several days before in the Mediterranean wsafely disembarked in Pozzallo (Italy). The next day the Ocean Viking set sail to Marseille for a regular port call before it will return to the central Mediterranean as soon as possible.
November 27th: Ocean Viking heads back to the central Mediterranean.
November 28th: 60 people were rescued during the night from a wooden boat in distress. They are now safely on board the Ocean Viking.
December 3rd: Five days after having been rescued, 60 survivors are still waiting for a port of disembarkation – find out more in our actual press release
December 4th: The 60 survivors safely disembark in Pozzallo (Italy)
